THIS opens, Big Skills participates
This is a new gallery and project space in Highland Park, LA run by some of our friends, specifically Justin Van Hoy. They seem to be getting lots of attention, both inside and out. Their inaugural show opened last Friday night, and will be up for a month or so. The gallery is open from Thursday-Saturday from 12-6pm. Big Skills participated by including two photos for this show, while J Lep also performed there a few weeks back. Super fun! Lots of exciting and innovative programming to come.

Craig Baldwin is special
Mr. Craig Baldwin was the Visiting Artist at Pitzer College today. Baldwin lectured on Assemblage and Film Povera, among other ideas, as part of Jesse Lerner's Handmade Film class. I was even fortunate enough to see one of my favorite filmmakers, Damon Packard, play a honarable L Ron Hubbard in Mock Up On Mu.

Big Skills to be interviewed by artist Christy Gast
Our old friend, artist Christy Gast, is doing a radio show tonight and wants to ask us a little about a show we do with artists Nancy Parczyk, Sarah Bisignano, and Dominic Bisignano called Call With Questions, we're so flattered!

The Skills are back
I read this blog a lot and find it to be inspiring so I am joining a group on a non-essential stuff spending haitus for the next two months. Last year I joined in spirit though not in practice so now it's time for action.

Maybe I can spend more time taking advantage of what I learned in yesterday's Apple workshop about developing iPhone apps, something I am very interested in, and even written a song about.
